‘Son of a Teacher’ is the fourth show in Brian Fleming’s musical storytelling trilogy. With the help of an array of percussion instruments, projections and audience participation, Brian relates stories from his formation as a drummer in Dun Laoghaire (Dublin, Ireland)) to studying in Guinea, Senegal and India. While running away from his father’s profession, he comes to realise that teachers come in many forms. Raymond Keane directs
'Those who can't do, teach. And those who can't teach, teach gym.’ ..Woody Allen
Brian’s previous three shows “Gis a Shot of Your Bongos Mister,’ ‘Have Yes No Homes to Go To?’ And ‘A Sacrilegious Lesbian and Homosexual Parade’ were nominated for awards on both sides of the Atlantic.
